Dont let guys push you over or you will come off as easy or a slut/whore,
Don't get jealous if you have a boyfriend. Most guys don't like the protective type ALL of the time. Let loose and be true. Don't fake it. I speak from experience. you can only be you.
When life gets ugly show it that it CAN'T AND WILL NOT take you down.

This topic is tough to generalize. It is not black and white. As a woman who decided to stay at home totally unexpectedly to raise my two boys and as a person who was raised by a single parent (widowed when I was 6 months old), I can relate to many sides of this "debate". What I find unsettling, though, is that this nerve is dividing women and that, well, that just makes me sad. I don't consider myself a homemaker. I spend every moment of the day actively involved with my boys exploration of the world. I too leave the laundry until Saturday night, sometimes even Sunday. I too stay up until 10 or 11 picking up the kitchen after dinner and bedtime. Most families, obviously, don't fall into the Romney camp or the Rosen camp. Most fall somewhere in between and are working hard to make ends meet whether working full time at home/work or at work/home. I have friends in all camps. Staying home with my boys was the best and most difficult decision I have ever made - in fact I have written several posts on my blog about it. I know many people who feel the same about the decision to work. At the end of the day, my hope is that women in all types of circumstances (even the rich ones with nannies, housekeepers and a chef) will support one another. Peggy Orenstein's book Flux is a good one, I highly recommend, on this topic. It is complicated, no one is right, no one is wrong. It isn't black and white.

Well spoken! Hear hear! I hate the false dichotomy between stay at home and work for others Moms. And I still don't have much good to say about the Romneys.
